In addition, FirstBase Software has created an add-on module that
handles automatic call accounting by interfacing Last Resort
with the Hitachi HCX5000 phone switching equipment.
This interface controls Check In & Check Out telephone permissions,
and creates completely integrated transactions for all phone system calls.
The standard HOBIC method of message passing via serial cables
is used to communicate with the Hitachi HCX5000.
This package is available as standalone source code or as an
